Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao just wants to keep crypto. He elucidated on his love for cryptocurrency in a recent interview with Bloomberg.

Cahnagpeng Zhao is the most influential person in the crypto space. His company Binance is a leading crypto exchange around the world. Changpeng Zhao (or CZ) is very active on Twitter. Accordingly, his comments are sought after by the crypto community.

CZ made it to the cover of Forbes magazine as a member of crypto’s secret billionaire club in 2018. Bloomberg Markets again recently interviewed CZ. Here are the highlights from the interview.

Bullish on Crypto

CZ is extremely bullish on cryptocurrency. He said that close to 100% of his net wealth is locked in crypto.

I don’t own any fiat, the physical stuff that I own is probably negligible in terms of my net worth. So this is a concept shift. I’m not using crypto to buy fiat, I’m not using crypto to buy houses. I just want to keep crypto.

Liquidity

The crypto CEO only cares about the liquidity of an asset. He doesn’t own any physical assets like a house or a car because of no liquidity.

I’m one of those guys who value liquidity much more than owning something.

Binance

CZ also elucidated the plans regarding the future of his company. He told the interviewer about the Binance Card.

Binance Card is actually the first product that we envision as the Binance Pay suite of products.

Merchants will be allowed to accept payments in crypto and stablecoins through Binance pay products.

Moreover, Binance is planning to do 20-30 acquisitions a year. The company seeks strong teams that are already doing well. Recently, Binance acquired the coinmarketcap.
